The United States Courts for the District of Montana will conduct a local contest to select finalists for the circuit-wide competition. To be eligible to compete in the local contest, students must reside in the State of Montana. Local contest winners in each category also will receive prizes of $2,000 for 1st place, $1,000 for 2nd place, and $500 for 3rd place. Winners of the local contest will go on to compete in the circuit-wide contest.
